How to Hide Gridlines in Microsoft Excel?

Hide Gridlines in Windows
If you want to hide gridlines in Windows, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First of all, you have to launch a Microsoft Excel document on your device.
  • Then you should go to the View tab on the upper side of the screen.
  • You have to locate the Show section.
  • You should go to the “Gridlines” option & uncheck on it.
  • Now, this action will clear the transparent lines in the back of the document & create it blank.
Deleting Grids from Multiple Sheets in Excel 365
  • Get started by pressing Control + left click on every worksheet that you would like to choose from the end of the screen. If you select more than two sheets, you will view “Group” written near the title on the upper side of the screen.
  • Then you should click on the View tab.
  • Now, you have to untick the “Gridlines” tab.
  • This action will delete the grids from the chosen worksheets.
Print the Grids
If you want to print the grids, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • To get started, launch the Excel document on your device.
  • Then you should go to the File option on the upper side of the window.
  • You have to choose the Print option.
  • Navigate to the Page Setup. A new screen should pop-up.
  • You should select the Sheet option at the upper side of the screen.
  • Now, you have to check the box of “Gridlines” beneath the print section.
  • Click on OK & all Microsoft Excel sheets will be printed.
Hide Gridlines in MacOS
  • To begin with, launch the Excel application.
  • Then you should select the worksheet where you would like to hide the grid.
  • You have to choose the Page Layout option from the upper side of the window.
  • Thereafter you should uncheck the “View” box beneath Gridlines.
On Excel on Mac 2011
  • First, you have to choose the sheet.
  • Then you should click on the Layout option.
  • Now, uncheck the “Gridlines” box beneath the View section.
Hide Gridlines in Online Excel
If you want to hide gridlines in online Excel, then you need to follow the instructions given below.
  • First & foremost, launch the document in the Excel online version.
  • You have to click on the Edit Workbook menu.
  • Then you should choose Edit in Excel to launch the document in the desktop version.
  • Go with the same instructions from the before sections to invisible or visible the gridlines.
  • After finishing the process, the changes will apply to the online version also.
