  1. Go to the Google Chrome browser on your PC.
  2. On the top-right corner, click the three dots next to your profile picture.
  3. Now select Settings from the options.
  4. Scroll downwards and then locate Advanced option.
  5. Now click on the Advanced option to browse more settings.
  6. After that, navigate to “Privacy and Security” settings. Under Privacy and Security, go to Site Settings.
  7. Now tap on the Notifications option.
  8. Toggle the switch next to “Ask before sending” option by clicking on it.
Now you can enjoy your web browsing without any discomfort caused by unwanted notifications. If you need them later on, then you can enable it by following the same instructions as mentioned above, but this time you have to turn on the Ask before sending switch. 
Turning Chrome Off on a Mac

How to turn off notifications on an iOS device?

Turning Off Push Notifications on Chrome Android

Android devices allow you to disable push notification entirely on Chrome browser. You can also keep the notifications turned on for a selective site that you want. Here’s how to disable it:
  1. Open the Chrome browser on your Android device.
  2. Go to three dots located on the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
  3. After that, press the Settings option.
  4. When you reach the Settings, look for Site Settings, and then click on it.
  5. Now navigate to the Notifications options.
  6. If you want to turn off all notifications, then toggle the blue-colored switch next to Notifications.
  7. If you want to turn off notifications only for selective sites, then manually select them from the list.
By doing so, you can get rid of these unwanted notifications. Some websites provide valuable content for us, and it is important to be updated with their articles and posts. So we recommend you to turn off notifications for only selective sites.
However, if you want to just stay far away from these alerts, then disable them completely.
