How to Remove SIM Cards in iOS Devices


After some time everyone has to remove the SIM card because of different reasons. You can remove it by opening the SIM slot from your iOS device as it has an in-built battery. 


You can take the SIM out by having a pin object with you. As iPhone don’t have that battery system which is removable at all, so you have to be careful before taking out the SIM with the help of pin object.


Object Needed While Removing the SIM Card in an iOS Device
You can remove the SIM card from your Apple device easily. As some Android devices, and when you purchase your iPhone, you will see in the box of your phone a pin object is already present in that box.

This object will help you to remove your SIM card. So take out the pin from the phone box and long press that pin into the round cavity given on the side of the SIM tray

You have to put that pin in the area and push it towards your Apple device. After that, a flat plate comes out of it. As Apple devices have only one SIM slots, so you will see only one
SIM slot in your iPhone.

How to Find the SIM Plate on Your iOS Device?

All iPhones have a  SIM tray built into them which is for only for one SIM card. If you have purchased these versions of iPhone and you are new to it, then follow these given steps below:
  • On iPhone 3.
Go to the upper side of your iPhone display and find it near the earphone port and switch on or off button.
  • On iPhone 4.
Move toward the right column of your iPhone, and there you will get a mute button and volume up and down button.
On iPhone which has a SIM slot built in it, if you had purchased an iPad then follow the steps given for each version:
  • Normal iPad.
With the left column of the iPad located on the centre, having keys of both the mute and volume up or down.
  • On iPad 2 or 3 or 4.
On the left column of iPad, you will see the mute key and volume toggle on the top of your device.
  • On iPad Pro/Air/ Air2 /M
You will see this option on the right column of your iPad, here mute button and volume up and down keys are there.
