Game of Thrones Prequel “Bloodmoon”: Everything You Need to Know

After Game of Thrones ended, there were mixed reviews and the viewers were left unsatisfied. Well the craving for some more of GOT is finally going to be fed as the show is set to release a prequel to the series. Game of Thrones has been HBO’s most significant hit, and the show was loved by people all around the world. However, the popular series ended, leaving a slightly bitter taste in the fans’ mouth. The fans did not very well receive the final season. Some fans were already not happy with the sixth and seventh season of the show, but the final installment was the worst received among the fanbase.
The prequel is set around 5000 years before the events of the original show. The prequel is to take place around the time where all the influential houses were forming. The era is called the Age of Heroes, and this is around the first time White Walkers descended on the land of Westeros.
The title is yet to be confirmed, but Bloodmoon is the working title as of now. George R.R Martin and Jane Goldman are collaborating for the prequel. There is only a pilot episode confirmed, so it is still unknown whether we will get a full series or not.

When and Where to Watch?
The release date is still unknown, but we know that it is going to be sometime around mid-late 2020.
US residents will be able to watch it on HBO Go.
If you are a non-US resident, then HBO Go won’t do it for you since it is only available in the US. In the UK GOT was available on NowTV and Sky Atlantic, so you will most likely be able to watch it there.
Foxtel Now was streaming GOT in Australia, so the chances of it streaming the prequel are high.
Confirmed Crew on the set
The book writer and creator George R.R. Martin and Jane Goldman, a British screenwriter, are going to be the creators of the prequel. Jane has worked on Stardust and Kick-Ass previously.
There is also Jessica Jones, The Defenders and HBO’s succession along with Daniel Zelman, Chris Symes, and Jim Gray.
The Cast
The known cast for the prequel goes like this: Academy awards nominee Naomi WattsMiranda Richardson from Harry Potter movies, John Heffernan from Dracula and John Simm from Strangers.
Other cast member includes Denise Gough from Monday, Naomi Ackie from Lady Macbeth, Alex Sharp from How to Talk to Girls at Parties, and Toby Regbo from The Last Kingdom. Also, George R.R. Martin confirmed that Direwolvesare going to be there in the upcoming prequel.
Whenever the prequel premiers, one thing is confirmed that George’s collaboration will make the prequel a must-watch for all his fans.
