Is That Armored Guy Boba Fett in The Mandalorian?
The first episode of the new hyped TV show The Mandalorian is now out and available for watching on the Disney+ on-demand streaming service. The Mandalorian’s first episode introduced a guy who looks very identical to the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett.
However, the first episode left an unanswered question in the viewer’s mind, “Is that guy wearing complete body armor Boba Fett?” However, just looking at the episode more and more is not enough to answer the question.
The more you will look at that guy, the more you’ll believe that he is Boba Fett despite the fact that he is not in real (Not that sure though). By the way, Pedro Pascal, who is playing the role of that guy, is not actually Boba Fett, but his appearance is inspired by Boba The character in The Mandalorian, who looks similar to the Boba Fett is played by Pedro Pascal who wears very identical outfit to the Boba as shown in the real Trilogy.
The scene in which the Boba Fett appears is in the middle of the first episode when Pedro’s bounty hunter comes at the place that might be a hangout place for Mandalorian. You can see that every character has worn the armor with different kinds and colors in the TV show, but that guy really seems to be something exceptional in the show.
However, Boba Fett was shown in the background of the shot, but his outfit’s color and style are much identical to that of real Boba. The guy’s armor has the most part in teal color with slight red markings on some places, and the dent in the helmet makes that guy pretty similar to the comic counterpart. The only difference between him and real Boba is that the yellow marks on the shoulder, which this one misses.
However, that doesn’t stop a fan from believing that he is Boba in The Mandalorian.
In the comics, the last appearance of our favorite Boba Fett was in the Return of the Jedi, where he died due to being accidentally knocked towards the pit of the Carkoon, also known as Sarlacc, a fictional character. When he gets into the Sarlacc’s reach, he ate him instantly.
However, later, we got to see that he survived at that moment, although everyone saw him dying on the screen; by the way, it was not clearly stated ever that he was dead.
Once more time in the comic Star Wars: Aftermath is was stated about Fett’s armor, and it was still unclear that what actually happened.
The character who is played by Pascal might be some another Mandalorian guy who maybe stole the clothes of Boba. Because his armor was discovered without a host, so it can be a reason to believe that theory. Even if we believe that he survived the death at that moment when he was eaten by Sarlacc, then why he will leave his armor behind.
It can also be a way of making fans anticipate watching The Mandalorian, so more users will join Disney+ in the hope of watching Boba on screen.
